Mad Love Harley & Joker

Ah comics. One of my happy places and not something taken lightly when your kids are named after them! The first comic event I tackled was Kal-El's Superman party. Its enjoyed wonderful success and national exposure so I was very excited to start this next one. I really put all of my heart into these types of shoots. Back in October I started working on a series. The girls of Gotham to be exact! Exciting right? I have ALWAYS had a weakness for Batman's rouge gallery. The villains are just unique and different. Most of them are doctors or intellectuals. Harley Quinn has been my personal favorite since her onset in 1994. I was 10 years old and became an instant fan. She actually sparked my love of psychology! After completing the Catwoman shoot in November I knew it was time to pay homage to my main girl. I was the most apprehensive about this shoot because I knew that I *had* to do it justice. I had a vision for every single detail start to finish and I was not content in resting until it came to life.
I started with an amazing art set custom created by the talented Michelle S of Salty Inspiration Art. She also did a piece for me on the Superman party. She is my go to for custom pieces and has completely replaced backdrop printables on many of my tables.  I started with the Harley table and honestly never had any intentions of creating a Joker table but the magic started happening and I couldnt stop it!
Hair and makeup was a huge part of pulling this shoot off! I knew right away that I wanted Laren Lindholm to work on our models little faces. She did an amazing job on both our models. Atutudes made Harley's adorable tutu dress and Rabbit Woods Design created our amazing joker suit. The beautiful joker painting was created by an artist from my home town by the name of Amanda Price. I contacted Miranda of Whimsically Detailed to create the perfect printables set. The custom prescription pad from Harley's psychiatrist days was my favorite paper detail. The doodle on it is by yours truly! There were so many wonderful vendors on this shoot that made my vision possible. I will let the goirgeous pictures captured by Danielle McCann Photography  tell the rest of the story. Enjoy!
